SBI CLERK

Steps of SBI Clerk examination

The SBI clerk exam is organized in three steps. Tier 1(Preliminary Exam), Tier 2 (Mains) and Tier 3 (Language Proficiency Test). After the final selection, the selected candidates achieve the chance to join as SBI Clerks. The candidates must have to clear graduation for appearing in this examination.

Each question carries 1 mark and you have to attend 100 questions. You will get only 1 hour for finishing your paper. For each wrong answer, 0.25 marks will be deducted.

Qualification & Age criteria

The age limit for appearing the SBI Clerk examination is a minimum of 21 and a maximum of 30 years. Candidates must be graduate in any discipline.

SBI PO

Steps of SBI PO examination

State Bank of India conducts the examination of SBI PO once every year. Through this examination, SBI recruits eligible candidates as Probationary Officers. The selection process is conducted in three steps – Tier 1(Preliminary Exam), Tier 2 (Mains) and Tier 3 (Interview Process).

Tier 1(Preliminary Exam)

  • You will be given a paper of 100 marks and a total number of questions 100.
  • You will get 1 hour to complete the paper.

Tier 2 (Mains)

  • Mains exam consists of 200 marks along with 155 questions.
  • Candidates will get 3 hours to complete the paper.

There will be multiple-choice questions (MCQ) in Tier 1. The final selection will be done after the interview round. After final selection, the selected candidates will get the chance to join as Probationary Officers in Junior Management Grade Scale – I (JMGS – I). The candidate must have to pass out graduation from any recognized university in order to appear this examination.

  • In Preliminary Exam there will be 100 questions and each question will carry 1 mark.
  • There will also be a negative marking process. 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Qualification & Age criteria

The minimum age criteria are 21 and maximum age criteria are 30 for appearing SBI PO examination and candidates must be graduate in any discipline.
