About NEET 2023

The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET), one of the toughest entrance exams, is given to prospective medical students to gauge their aptitude.

NEET Exam pattern and structure:

The exam consists of 180 questions in total, with 45 questions from each of the four subject areas of physics, chemistry, botany, and zoology.

Each right answer earns four points, while each wrong answer gets -1 negative score. The exam will last three hours (180 mins).

Exam weight: 720 points (maximum marks). The paper is divided into two parts for each of the four subjects—Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology—A and B. 35 questions in Section A are mandatory to be answered, and 10 of the 15 questions in Section B needed to be completed.
